Voice agents for freight: dispatch at 3 a.m.

At 3 a.m. a freight depot is loud with trucks and quiet with people. That’s exactly when carriers call to confirm pickups — and exactly when nobody answers.
The night-dispatch problem
Missed confirmations turn into missed pickups, and missed pickups cost a full day. Kestrel was losing two or three loads a week this way.
What the Voice Agent does
It answers every carrier call, confirms the load, updates the TMS and texts the driver the dock number. Anything unusual wakes the on-call manager with a one-line summary.
Carriers now prefer calling at night. Somebody always picks up.
